Our MISSION
The Energy Justice Alliance is a BlPOC-led coalition of organizations, partners and allies establishing an inclusive climate justice movement that is rooted in racial, economic, and environmental justice.
We strive to create the necessary space for BIPOC grassroots organizations and allies to advocate for energy justice at the local, state, and national level. We are dedicated to advancing climate justice in New York State for all through grassroots advocacy, education, and organizing.
We envision a just transition that includes opportunity for all and prevailing wage jobs. We envision the development of community forward clean and green infrastructure that prioritizes the health and safety of our communities, the environment, and the planet.

We are a BIPOC-led coalition that advocates for energy justice in New York and against fossil fuels. We demand that our communities have a seat at the table when decisions are made about clean and green infrastructure at all levels and fight for economic justice, jobs and climate action. Our work is guided by the Jemez Principles of Democratic Organizing. The Energy Justice Alliance is convened by the Energy Justice Law and Policy Center (EJLPC). Green Westchester is a founding member of the Alliance.
